About us

We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children

Since 2015 LAAR Corp provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral conditions that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. Our offices are located at Miami, West Palm Beach and Naples. We provide intensive and individualized treatment services at home, school, and community.

Our goal is to provide effective treatment to meet our client’s needs. Treatment programs focus on increasing significant skills that will lead to expanded opportunities, engagement, and independence while simultaneously reducing maladaptive behavior and increasing functional equivalent responses.

Our Team

Our providers are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA), Psychologists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Social Workers, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).  Our team is focused on decreasing challenging behaviors while simultaneously enhancing the life of others by increasing social interaction and independency.

Services provided by our team of experts

Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills

An assessment tool, curriculum guide, and skills-tracking system used to help teach language and critical learning skills for children with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Functional Behavior Assessment

Intended to help professionals reveal the function of maladaptive behavior which then guides the selection of applicable behavioral programs for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Parent and Caregiver Training

The therapist teaches the parents of the individual diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities how to implement the strategies utilized in the home and/or the community.

Functional Communication Training​

One of the most common and effective interventions for maladaptive behaviors, designed to reduce problem behaviors by replacing them with meaningful verbal alternative responses, such as, vocalization, manual sign and pointing.

Social Skill Training

A wide range of interventions and instructional methods used to assist an individual implement social skill such as conversational turn-taking, greetings, initiate conversation, establish eye contact.

Telemedicine

The practice of health care delivery by a practitioner who is in a remote site, using interactive telecommunications equipment that minimally includes real time, two-way interactive communication with a recipient using audio and video equipment

Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the use of behavioral procedures to increase desired behavior. ABA is recognized as a reliable and effective treatment for autism that bring about social and significative positive change in behavior when performed in a high-quality and intensive manner. These methods can be used in structured situations as well as in everyday situation. ABA uses evidence-based approaches founded on the principles of behavior. The U.S Surgeon General and numerous organizations have endorsed the effectiveness of ABA. Research has shown that ABA is the most efficient treatment for individuals with Autism.

ABA is an effective approach to reduce maladaptive behavior such as self-injury, physical and verbal aggression, restricted and repetitive behavior, andtask refusal. At the same time teaching procedures has been widely used to enhance social communication, developing social skills, and independent living skills.
